Stuck In A Tree
Eugene, Arnold, and Harold end up stuck in a tree in the park, and their fate depends on Chocolate Boy
Written by Joseph Purdy and Steve Viksten
Storyboard Direction by Tim Parsons
Animation Direction by Christine Kolosov
Storyboard Artists: Miyuki Hoshikawa, Diane Kredensor, Caesar Martinez

Arnold - Spencer Klein
Eugene - Blake Ewing
Harold - Justin Shenkarow
Chocolate Boy - Jordan Warkol
Water tower worker - Craig Bartlett

  • The new Eugene sounds a little like Helga
  • Arnold is flying his kite with the metal kitchen implements (as seen in "Arnold's Hat") again
  • There were other people in the park; why didn't they yell for help?
  • How did Arnold and Harold know all of the words to the song? Harold interrupted Eugene the first time he sang it
  • The fire engine says HFD; maybe the city Arnold lives in begins with an "H"?

Song Lyrics to Eugene's song

Every seed turns into a flower
Every minute turns to an hour
Turn that frown upside-down
And there's a nice big smile
Never let go of hope
It's a lifesaving rope
And like a seed grows, dreams come true
Just because you're you

Rhonda Goes Broke
Rhonda tries to keep up appearances after she and her parents lose all their money and end up moving into the Sunset Arms
Written by Robert Lamoreaux
Storyboard Direction by Carson Kugler
Animation Direction by Frank Weiss
Storyboard Artists: Miyuki Hoshikawa, Diane Kredensor, Caesar Martinez

Arnold - Spencer Klein
Gerald, Peapod Kid (uncredited) - Jamil Smith
Helga - Francesca Smith
Rhonda - Olivia Hack
Stinky - Christopher Walberg
Sid - Sam Gifaldi
Nadine - Lauren Robinson
Oskar - Steve Viksten
Grandpa - Dan Castellaneta
Grandma - Tress MacNeille
Ernie - Dom Irrera
Mr. Huynh - Baoan Coleman
Brooke Lloyd (Rhonda's mother) - Lori Alan
Buckley Lloyd (Rhonda's father) - Sam McMurray
Abner - Craig Bartlett

  • Whatever happened to the Sunset Arms policy of "NO KIDS"?
  • Rhonda complains that Nadine wears the same shows twice in a row, yet Rhonda wore the same shoes (and the same sweater, and the same pants) over and over again in the first few seasons
  • ...and Nadine is actually wearing different shoes than she normally wears
  • Why doesn't Oskar sleep in his own room?
  • Rhonda isn't wearing anything underneath the rip in her sweater
  • Presumably, this answers the question "whatever happened to Rhonda's glasses?", if she really did have contact lenses (maybe her parents thought she was responsible enough after "Polishing Rhonda")
  • In the scene after the garbage dumpster scene, Buckley's lips disappear briefly while he's talking
  • Craig Bartlett is credited as Brainy, but Brainy's "voice" isn't particularly recognizable
