- Does anybody out there need more convincing that Phoebe knows's Helga's "secret"
- especially as Helga never came out and told her where she was headed each night, yet Phoebe knew exactly where
to go?
- For some reason, in her daydream, Helga looks smaller than she usually does
- Does anybody really hold their arms out in front of them when they sleepwalk?
- Helga has an alarm clock now (well, besides Miriam), and its digits change color
from yellow (the first time she goes out the window) to red (when Phoebe is there)
- The digits on Helga's alarm clock are blinking when it's 10:08, and it sounds
like the alarm is on (well, it could be one of those "power failure alarms" that go off when the power
goes off and then on, to warn you that your clock needs to be reset)
- How did Helga pay for her bus ride? I assume she didn't have any money
or a bus pass

Fighting Families
Arnold, Grandpa, Grandma, Ernie, and Mr. Hyunh compete on a game show against a "perfect" family from
PS 119
Written by Joseph Purdy
Storyboard Direction by Chris Headrick
Animation Direction by Frank Weiss
Storyboard Artist: Ted Seko
Cast:
Arnold - Spencer Klein
Gerald - Jamil Smith
Stinky, Cindy's brother - Christopher Walberg
Grandpa, Cindy's father - Dan Castellaneta
Grandma - Tress MacNeille
Ernie - Dom Irrera
Mr. Hyunh - Baoan Coleman (credited as "Colman")
Oskar - Stephen Viksten
Suzie, Cindy's sister - Mary Scheer
Show host - Ryan Seacrest
Cindy, show spokeswoman - Rebecca Forstadt
- Yes, that's Ryan Seacrest
of American Idol as the voice of the host of
"Fighting Families". (He got his start
hosting game/competition shows like Gladiators 2000
and Click.)
- Everybody is introduced by their first name, except Grandma (called "Pookie")
and Mr. Hyunh
- Harold and Stinky's sign says "GO ARNULD"
- What if someone without a large enough family, like, say, Harold, had been selected
to be on the show? Presumably, the show should have been limited to students with two parents/guardians and
two siblings, as being allowed two adults as siblings is a major advantage, especially in the tug-of-war (four
adults against two - who do you think is going to win?)
- The original episode description at Nickelodeon's web site mentions that Chocolate
Boy was the original PS 118 choice, but this part wasn't in the show
- The credits include "IN LOVING MEMORY OF MIKE BOND" -
Mike Bond, the father of character & prop designer Clint
Bond, died of cancer in early 1999; according to Clint's
sister Allie, the PS 119 family was designed based on the
actual Bond family
