- Is there anybody reading this that does not know what a "typewriter"
is?
- Helga's story in the Weekly Word says "By H. Pataki"; Arnold's story
about the demolition says "By Arnold and Gerald" (technically, those are called "by-lines",
and usually they list the writers' first and last names)
- Ruth makes her first appearance in a second-season story, when she laughs at
Arnold (no "Ruth" credit appeared at the end)
- When Stinky shows Helga the newspaper that contradicts Helga's story, Maria's
hair is lavender and her skin slightly lighter than it usually is; they then change back and forth a few times
- The boy who says "new bike rack very popular" after picking up a paper
is credited as "Peapod Kid", which is the credit he received when he wore a peapod costume in "Downtown
As Fruits"
